Kayaking Trip

We went on a kayaking adventure with the Lows and the Howards. It was the day before we left and it was a lot of fun. Brielle didn't sleep on the way there so she didn't last long and we had to come back early...but it was fun anyway!! It was at Lanikai beach and we kayaked out to Mokululu island (not too sure on the name).

Stratton/Bagley family photo

This is our family picture we took just before we left. It is behind Chuck and Jana's house. It turned out really nice!! Miss you guys!!

Goodbye Hawaii...Hello Utah

We are officially off de island!! Adam is done with school and is now in Virginia doing summer sells. He made his first sell already on his first day. WE are so proud of him. Brielle and I have come to Utah while Adam works his "bum" off and finishes his online classes. WE left Hawaii on the 25th!! It was hard to do. I did so good at saying goodbye until Lili!!! She lived next door to us this last semester and she became my little buddie!! She came over all the time. For those who don't know Lili, she is the daughter of Kim and Nate Howard. We were so lucky to have lived by them. WE had so much fun. Anyway, when I went up to say goodbye Lili came to give me a hug and I started crying. She said "Bye Broke!" She came up with that name for me and I even heard her say Brooke once but for some reason she just wanted to call me Broke and I loved it. I miss you guys!! I miss everyone!!!

WE are doing pretty good here. The first day was pretty crzy. We flew in at about 8:00 A.M. and went straight to one of my cousins baptisms. WE didn't last long cause Brielle was so tired. She really only got 5 hours of sleep and she didn't get her afternoon nap on Friday. Poor thing was so confused!! She is now back on her schedule though! THank Goodness!! It is so dry here!! Both Brielle and I are shriveling up! We can't keep enough lotion on us. Brielle is much worse, her skin looks so bad. She really does look like she has crocodile skin. I will try and take a picture of it. Poor thing. Other than that I love being so close to everything! I went shopping yesterday and ate at CAFE RIO!!! Ha Ha to everyone in Hawaii!! I know you are totally jealous. It was delicious!! If anyone wants to meet up while we are here please call me!!

Technical Difficulties

So we are having a little problem with our camera. For some reason it won't upload the pictures onto the computers!! I am going to get the pics on a cd and then fill you all in!!!

Brielle's new BAD Habbit

Brielle has started this new thing when she eats...when she is done or doesn't want anymore she PURPOSELY throws her food on the floor!!! No matter what I do she keeps doing it. It is pretty funny sometimes because she will look right at you and know that she is not supposed to and then drops her food!! She even does it with a smile and I finally got a picture of it...Do you notice how she is posing so cute?!! FYI--it was right after I scolded her--don't think she really listens!!! Granted this picture is just Fruit Loops, but right before this she had just dropped her pancakes on the floor too!!! Cute little Stinker!!!

FHE

So on Monday night I surprised Adam and took him to the Polynesian Cultural Center (PCC) for Family Home Evening (FHE)!!! He had never been and I hadn't been since my first year out here. Shanae and Kali Jones and Scott and Ashlyn Bigler came with us!! It was so much fun. Thank you Kanako for getting us your discount!!!

Our last Sunday

This is the Sunday School class we created for the families that have children too young for nursery but too old to sit in a regular class with adults. Don't know how the church would feel about it...but if we didn't have this class we would either go home or be out in the hall!! So what do you think?? Anyway it was our last Sunday and I brought the camera to take some pics!!!

More fun things before we leave!!!

My mom keeps reminding me everyday..."Today is your last Saturday!" "Today is your last Sunday!" Today is your last Monday!" So we really have been trying to do fun things!! We have spent a lot of time here in Hawaii and it is finally time to move on to the "Real World!" But before we go this is what we have done so far...A day at the beach, a horseback ride, a hike up to a waterfall, BBQ and bonfire with friends, we got sung 'Aloha Oe' in church yesterday (a farewell song), and there is much more to come!!

We will miss Hawaii so much!!
This is sunset beach!!! Isn't it just beautiful??!!

What a cute beach bum!!! Huh?!! She was covered in sand!!

The Last Saturday

Well, yesterday was our last saturday in Hawaii. Sad. But one nice thing about leaving is that it makes you do all those fun things you never get around to normally. Like riding horses!

Brooke's boss at the Haircut Store Frank took us up around the Laie Falls area, only on a different trail. The horses were awesome, the one Brooke rode was named Sweetie, and she was 30 years old, which is like 90 in horse years. Crazy.

What's awesome is that up there, the only thing you can hear is the wind. There's no sounds from the ocean, no cars, and almost no birds too. It's awesome for hanging out and relaxing. So we did.

By the way, Blogger has a horrible picture formatting tool. It's like rolling the dice every time.

"Gee I wonder if my pictures will be on the left or on the right?"

Regis and Kelly

So one of my favorite TV shows (morning shows) is Live with Regis and Kelly. And last week it was car week or something. So the last day...friday...they had concept cars. Does anyone know what concept cars are??? Well I just found out. They are cars made by the companies to show what they could do in 10-20 years. Isn't that just a waste??!! I was all excited that we were going to see these cars next year!!! I just can't believe it!!! you can pick your favorite...I really like the ford explorer...cause it has sliding doors. What do you think???

Conference Weekend

Well today is the first day of conference and I failed to wake up on time. Here in Hawaii, in order to watch it live, you have to get up at 6AM!!! I don't know how I thought I could...but for the past 3 years I have never missed it. What would make a difference?? HAVING A TODDLER!!!! I couldn't rip myself from my bed. I feel so badly and hope that tomorrow morning I will do better. I was up by 7--so really i only missed an hour. I will just have to make sure to set my alarm. Hopefully together Adam and I can wake each other up.

What we did hear was really nice. I love conference. Good luck to all our other friends here in Hawaii!!! I will never judge again when I walk by and don't hear it on your TV's!!!! Hope you all enjoy it.

A Manly Touch

I think it's time for a little masculinity in this Blog. Let's start with a little Star Wars. Star Wars is perhaps the coolest genre of anything, period. I first got hooked on star wars when I was still living in Arizona, at the tender age of 5 years old. My uncles (who at the time were still in their late teens/early 20s) had all kinds of star wars action figures and movie stuff, so I was pretty much raised on it.

Next up we have a relatively new development in the world of masculinity, Taylor Stimmel.
Wow, this kid on P90X is like Arnold's days at Muscle Beach before he became a movie star. He actually is pretty convincing, to the point where I want to try this P90X program.

But then, why try P90X when I could just buy a P 90 and not have to work out at all, or worry about that extra X? Here's the P 90 made in Belgium by FN. Look's pretty manly huh? Well that's because it is. FN designed the P 90 to be a close-range automatic short-barreled rifle. They also created a new type of ammunition to go with the P90, which is the 5.7mm round. A little narrower than your average bullet, it was designed to penetrate better into materials like body armor, walls, and perhaps even human tissue.

Last in our Gallery of Manliness we will pay tribute to an item that any man, anywhere is capable of recognizing quite easily. I give you the steak. The steak has a long and glorious tradition. Probably starting as early as when Adam and Eve left the garden of Eden, this delicious and nutritious hunk of burnin' meat was a favorite among both ancient and modern men. My personal experiences with steak have ranged from lame, almost expired thin steaks, to the $20, butcher cuts it off the carcass porterhouse steaks that it takes three meals to consume.

Steak, I salute you!

Adam and I

I love this picture of Adam and I when I am wearing his hat!!! It looks like we are at a b-ball game and I am such a jock...but we are at a family get together over Christmas, BOWLING!
And the 2nd is a pic from our 2 year anniversary doing a little tourist sight-seeing at the Valley of the Temples. I love you Adam G. Bagley!!!! Aren't self portraits just the best!!! I have learned that is the only way that we can all be in the photo--for now!!!

First Black Eye

Brielle fell off the stage at the church where I was teaching dance and got her first goose egg and black eye. It was so sad...but I loved how she clung to me for nearly ten minutes. It swelled up so big and then turned black and blue just on her eyelid, it looked just like eye shadow. So we covered it with sunglasses at the beach!J/K
