GLAMOUR

The verdict is in—your style is Glamour. Glamour is the penthouse with a view, the Old Hollywood mansion, the home of the connoisseur. A knowing marriage of fashion with sumptuous comfort. A fearless blending of Art Déco, Chippendale, and Modern. Glamour is shamelessly smart, elegant, and timeless.

This online portfolio shows your style. Brought to life in rooms. A subtle mix of furniture, accessories, and attitude. Different “looks.” Because every home should be unique. Come see.

You can take the quiz here... http://www.ethanallen.com/style_quiz

I just took it again and this time it told me I was metro...and looking at the pictures I really did like more of the styles they had. So maybe if I blend Glamour and Metro! Might have a beautiful house.

The verdict is in—your style is Metro. Metro is a great modern space. Chic, comfortable, clean. Do the math. Strong horizontals plus graphic clarity plus a fearless blending of metal, woods, leathers, and wovens; minus the superfluous and the clichéd; equals urban architecture domesticated, a vision for living.

SOMETHING SASSY

HURRAY!!

I got a job! It seems like it will be the perfect set up for me. It is as at a salon here in KAYSVILLE called SOMETHING SASSY. I pick my hours (which will be at night during the week from 5-9 and possibly Friday or Saturday mornings), I book myself (so call me), and if I don't have any clients I don't have to be there. It is almost like working at home but I get the benefits of not working at home...time away from home (just for my sanity...ask Adam...He demanded I get a job), not having a mess and strangers at my house. I really can't wait. I hope that it works out.

SO PLEASE CALL ME OR COMMENT HERE IF YOU WANT AN APPOINTMENT WITH ME!! I have no REAL clientele yet and I really want you to come in. I love doing hair and I really miss it. I promise I will have super good deals for you right now during the holidays. If you need anything...makeup, cut, style, color...ANYTHING! I will even give you a scalp massage...FOR A PRICE of course!

Send any friends you know in! I will give you a referral discount. I will also be doing free makeovers every once in a while. So if you know someone who really needs one come on in and enter them in my drawing (or bring a picture), I will be doing it FREE OF CHARGE! If you know someone who is struggling...seriously call me and we will work something out. I, of all people, know when you feel down about your looks it affects your entire life.

I want to make you feel BEAUTIFUL or HANDSOME!!

FUNNY!

"Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever.Great stories. But two things made me take it down.

First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.

Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do that My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard."

THIS IS NOT MY HOUSE!! THIS WAS AN EMAIL FROM MY MOM! JUST THOUGHT IT WAS SO FUNNY I HAD TO PUT IT ON HERE!

Julie and Julia

Can I just tell you how much I loved this movie. It seems to fit into almost any womans life...when you just need something to get you a little more excited about it (life). Or something to make you feel a little more productive from your daily routine. She (Julie) had a few tantrums and melt downs, things not going exactly her way, found out just how great and supportive her husband was, and got to do something she loved while others enjoyed reading about it. The only sad part for me was...

DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO BE A SURPRISE ...

Julia didn't want to meet her and she thought she was dis-respective. Just don't understand from how they portrayed her she seemed like the most fun-loving woman and she would run to embrace another woman setting out to make her life better.

Oh well. 524 recipes in 375 days is amazing!!

So...Now I am trying to think how I could better improve my life. I have so many friends that have things on the side that they are doing and making money for them and there families and I really need that. I know I can do hair...but as of right now I need to build a clientele for that and I am waiting for us to finish our extra room to be my salon. Some friends are doing photography, hair bows, crafty stuff, etc. I just don't know if there are already too many of those things being done that I would have anyone wanting my services.

So do you have an idea for me?? Is there something that you need that I could do for you? Something you would buy? Something you need help with??

Daycare? Cleaning (housemaid)?
