So Teja has two friends--that are mostly hers! Grace and Carli! And Carli came over with one of her birthday presents and needed some help opening it...
I am not sure what happened...If she fell out, if she was saying her prayers (right), reading her books, or playing. BUt is sure was cute to come in and find her like this...
For some reason the past month has been really hard at bed time. She just isn't ready to go to sleep. She seems tired but she just kept climbing out of her crib to play. So we took the railing off and that didn't help. She really doesn't stay in bed now. She comes and climbs in bed with us or goes down stairs to do what ever she wants. So we put the railing back on and so far so good. We shall see!!! It is kind of how potty training is going. She goes in the potty every once in a while and then she poops her pants or pees. She isn't consistent at all...and I guess neither am I!! I just am trying to be patient and let her decide when she is ready. If that doesn't work we will be trying something new pretty soon!
Lindsey found a girl that just started a 2 year old Pre-School class and we jumped at the opportunity to put them in it. It is only two days a week for about an hour and a half, but it is just enough time to get them away from us and doing something new and fun. So far she loves it. The second time I took her she kept saying "BYE mom!" even when the teacher wasn't quite ready for us to be there and we had to color outside for a minute. Even then she still said "k, bye mom!" It was so cute. Some might be sad the first time there kid goes to school or nursery, but not ME!! I love it and know how much she loves it. We need a break from each other every once in a while.
So recently I have come to the fact that ALL MOMS struggle at some point, if not many, with the way they are raising there kids or just being a MOM! So this is a shout out to all you moms, that I know, that are doing a fabulous job!
We may have our ups and downs.
We may resort to spanking every once in a while.
We may feed our child and ice cream cone for lunch.
We may let them watch more than a half hour of TV a day.
WE may get frustrated.
We may get tired.
We might even want to give up! We may all do it a little bit differently...
but
WE LOVE OUR KIDS AND WE LOVE BEING THERE MOMS
(most of the time)!!
This song is to just boost your spirits a little today when you read this
and just remember to keep on going!!!!!
I love you all...YOU are a GREAT MOM!
After finding all these pictures I realized I am surrounded by such GREAT
women of GOD!! Thank you so much. I treasure you and our friendship!
