Julie and Julia

Can I just tell you how much I loved this movie. It seems to fit into almost any womans life...when you just need something to get you a little more excited about it (life). Or something to make you feel a little more productive from your daily routine. She (Julie) had a few tantrums and melt downs, things not going exactly her way, found out just how great and supportive her husband was, and got to do something she loved while others enjoyed reading about it. The only sad part for me was...

DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO BE A SURPRISE ...

Julia didn't want to meet her and she thought she was dis-respective. Just don't understand from how they portrayed her she seemed like the most fun-loving woman and she would run to embrace another woman setting out to make her life better.

Oh well. 524 recipes in 375 days is amazing!!

So...Now I am trying to think how I could better improve my life. I have so many friends that have things on the side that they are doing and making money for them and there families and I really need that. I know I can do hair...but as of right now I need to build a clientele for that and I am waiting for us to finish our extra room to be my salon. Some friends are doing photography, hair bows, crafty stuff, etc. I just don't know if there are already too many of those things being done that I would have anyone wanting my services.

So do you have an idea for me?? Is there something that you need that I could do for you? Something you would buy? Something you need help with??

Daycare? Cleaning (housemaid)?

I haven't seen the movie, but in the book she is pretty crass. I can see why Julie Child would be a bit offended by her.

She's not super likeable in the book either, in my opinion. I still really want to see the movie, because I heard it's great.
