Our family update

I sent out an email update today and thought I might as well post it on our blog too--so here it is!

Hello Friends and Family--

I just wanted to send a quick little update on us and the goings on in our lives. I know not all of you check our blog and emails are so much easier for you. We are doing great. I have about two weeks and two days left of this pregnancy. I am scheduled to be induced on the 5th, but hoping to start on my own. We can't wait for baby girl #2!!! Me especially, I am so uncomfortable right now mostly because this baby moves so so much. She usually is awake til about midnight every night now and that means so am I. I am hoping that all this movement does not say how she is going to be when she gets here. I don't think I could do another baby that is more active than Brielle. We still don't have a name and I am getting super frustrated with looking for one I like and that Adam likes. Suggestions are welcome!! I don't feel as prepared for her...I still don't have a car seat yet. Don't worry though, hopefully this weekend I will have everything I need.

We are still living in Cedar City, Utah but have a move coming up the same weekend the baby is supposed to come. We got accepted into housing in St. George where my sister, Alise, lives. We are super excited about this move. Cedar just doesn't fit us very well. We will be moving into a 3 bedroom town home. The ward there that we will be in has 9 nurseries and 2 relief societies! Very exciting for me. I hope to make some friends that we can have play dates with and do lots of fun things like we did in Hawaii. When we are at my sisters house there are always kids outside playing and Brielle just loves to play with them. So a new baby and a move!! Its going to be pretty crazy. I have been staying with my parents up in Logan since Christmas and just came down to Cedar this week to help Adam with the packing and then back up to Logan til the baby comes.

Adam is finishing his last semester of school at SUU and is doing good. He is also working at Davis Accounting still and will continue there until we find another job that will be more permanent either in St. George or up north when he graduates. He has one good offer right now, but they aren't sure of a job opening as of yet. Davis has been a great place for us and is very flexible with Adams school schedule and having to go up to Logan so much. Adam is also thinking of taking just four more classes after he graduates to get his MBA. He is still trying to find ome great hobbies to do here in Utah and has taken up shooting and four wheeling. He got a fishing pole for Christmas, as well, and we shall see if he "catches" on. He misses us a lot while we are up in Logan, but he doesn't complain and takes pretty good care of himself (exept that he always comes up to Logan with a little mustache and beard) and us even being so far away.

Brielle is growing super fast and still in the top 95% for her height. She will be turning 2 in March and I can't wait to celebrate her birthday. I think because I am more excited for the gifts we have gotten her and that maybe we will have a few milestones coming up. We are hoping to put her in a toddler bed, potty train, get her off the bottle, and hoping for a bigger vocabulary to help us communicate better. She still runs every where and is so curious about everything. She loves eating the snow and icecicles. Her favorite things right now are puppies and horses. She asks "what's that?" all the time, so I know she is just stocking up the information to, one day, just blurt it all out at once. We are just waiting for that day, as patiently as we can. She loves singing Popcorn Popping (she just does the actions) and used to love Itsy Bitsy Spider but when we sing that now she says "NO, NO, NO!" ABC's and 123's are fun for her and she just watches us sing them and trys a few of her favorite numbers (2, 3, and 5).

WE are all doing good and looking forward to all these big changes coming our way. We miss Hawaii a lot, but I think we are finally adjusting to being back in Utah. Hawaii is still an option for us, but for now Utah is the best place for us to be. We will keep you posted when the baby comes and when Adam graduates and gets a job where we will know we will be for a while. Thank you all for your love and support.
